I think it is not the bug related to RADAsm.
Goto Window>Cascade, should fix the window misalignment problem.

Hi donkey

Looks like the TabTool somehow got negative height.

Try replacing this in RadASM.ini section

TabTool=1,1,2,0,26,20,0,0,25,27

hiya, i thinkone posibility KahnAbyss for change the ini, can you make a bat file. in the radasm directory.. and two files (originalRadASM.ini and ChangedRadASM.ini)and need first delete the radasm.ini, then replace for the correct one.. and after edit the correct bat file, you can choose.. like a tool...

in option->tool menu you can configure.. and maybe have a shortcut
.. two diferents files replaceRadASM.ini.bat and restoreRadASM.ini.bat then you need reopen the rad asm.

Or you can make.. a litle program.. and maybe have.. some configuration for remember the files you want replace the original file, and remember the file of the original.. then.. this program need.. get the handle of radasm or some.. dunno :D and close and open the radasm for you ;).

maybe this buttons.. replace with file..., restore from file..., reopen radasm and remember replacemen with the name of.... a little addin???

i think.. this can be more usefull for set the correct paths.. for diferents versions of tasm.. or nasm.. and other include files. i dont know for what you need change the radasm.ini

Hi all

Uploaded RadASM 2.0.0.3 to my web site.

Whats new:
- Fixed a find and replace bug.
- Made some speed optimalizations.
- Double click on splitter bar/button closes/opens a split.

It seem that drawing to a back buffer is too slow, especialy on XP.

Will someone with a speed problem test the included version of RAEdit.
Ignore the flicker as I will work on reducing it. Let me know if the speed is ok.

KetilO

01/14/2003 11 dl. Fixed a paint bug and optimized more. It is now faster than RadASM 1.2.2.0 with richedit, but at a cost. It flickers a little.
01/15/2003 7 dl. Made it an option in standard RAEdit.

i dont know for what you need change the radasm.ini

Well when you code Control or plugin dll that radasm uses and test it you can't replace it so I use 2 instances of RA one for the dll coding and another one for testing
Maybe i'll code a little plugin for that i'll see but I doubt it will be usefull for a lot of people :)

in richedit when you select some text you are able to drag it somewhere else and when pressing ctrl and dragin you do not move this selected text, only copy it somwhere else, maybe you could add this to your RAEdit
nice work, like Eviloid have said:
Your RadAsm rulezzz :alright:

Is it me or is Shift-Del not working ? I have a 2 weeks old copy of RadASM so it might be fixed... Maybe it's just an option for this which I can't find... And also the CTRL-Z doesn't seem to work...

Thx, JC

Hi JimmyClif

Shift+Del, what is it supposed to do? If you are talking about Ctrl+Del, then it is not implemented.
Ctrl+Z (Undo) should work, maybe a bit detailed tho.

KetilO,

I've been out of town for some months and haven't been able to check out the newest releases of RadASM until today. I've been using it from the very first release, and the latest version surpasses my wildest dreams of a free asm IDE. You have done an excellent job and if I wasn't a poor student I would donate some money or send you one of my famous cherry cakes or something :alright:
