Show me a structure in the win32 api that exceeds 256 bytes please.

That is...a structure that does not call another.

Why? With most structs that are passed to an api function, you pass a pointer, not the whole struct, that way it doesn't matter how big the structure gets. Check out some of the printer related structs, they contain arrays of structs....
