I've noticed that quite a lot of people have another title under their username than the default "Code Warrior" here on the board. I don't seem to be able to change it for myself though. Can this be done after a certain number or posts or something, or are there other rules? Maybe I'm just stupid and don't see the setting? Any tips or info about this would be great. Thanks!
<obsolete info> :)
you can set it for yourself now. don't abuse it or I put it away again. (so no naming yourself super moderator or something ok? :) )
you need 100 posts OR 2 months member. So you have to do 'something'

Thanks Hiroshimator! :alright:
Ooh I'm bad....I'm nationwide..
..to get back in topic.. I think that "Code Warrior" is very very nice already, but thanks for the added freedom. :)
Always wondered about the part that said we can change our caption :)
Darn... i think i'll have to inflate my posts a bit. time to post in Crusades. jk

I wouln't dare, hehehe....
btw, what do you think of my title? (maybe I'll change it if I think of something better during the day)
I've changed it to "Code Guerrilla Fighter".. a bit more proper for me, and for the way I develop/optimize (a bit at a time, sometimes even a longword at a time).
BTW: I saw in my dictionary that "Guerrilla Fighter" is a synonim of "bush-fighter".
Code warrior? So,Hiro is the commander. :)
Nay, people fear his furry paws.
I did not know about this feature. Interesting... I would add something when I could think of something.

What about you are thinking Roticv? :)
Roticv, how about "my paws are furry too". ;)
Or maybe that's close enough to impersonating an admin? In that case I apologize for the suggestion.

And scientica, if your new title is not an intended pun, it should be spelled "sorcerer", just so you know.
no, "sourceror" :p
dELTA, you understood the pun! (I was a few bits worrried that none would understand it, but I'll just and those bits of now ;))
Hiro, ok I was a bit unsure of the speelling on the ending part but I'll go for your sugestion.

I don't understand the pun with the "or" ending in "Sourceror" :(, can someone explain?
:stupid:
:stupid:
sorceror
source
sourceror
source
sourceror
Yes, I understand that pun, I even commented in it above. What I did not understand was why you wanted to spell it with "or" on the end.
Now I know the source (no pun intended :)) of this confusion:
In American english, it is spelled "sorcerer"
In British english, it is spelled "sorceror"
Hence, scientica can choose whichever he wants. :) But since the largest part of the swedish population seem to use american spelling and pronounciation when they write/speak english (from own experience), I would root for "sorcerer" (and because it looks better). ;)
PS.
Don't ask how many Harry Potter pages I had to wade through to acquire this information.
