HLA v1.44 is a quick maintenance release to support the RadASM and UeMake IDEs.
HLA v1.44 consists only of the HLA.EXE and HLAPARSE.EXE files, you will need to download a copy of HLA v1.43 first and then replace these two files with the v1.44 download.

HLA.EXE, v1.44, includes a new command line parameter that lets the IDE specify the location of the hla include files (thus avoiding the problems associated with the HLAINC environment variable).

HLAPARSE.EXE v1.44 has several fixes dealing with the temp directory option (the -p command line option).

Hi Randy

The -i parameter gives this error:

C:\Hla\HLA.EXE -v -c -w -i:C:\hla\include "Dialog.hla" "Dialog.asm"
Illegal command line option '-i:C:\hla\include'
Usage: hla options filename(s)

I download HLA 1.44 and replaced hla.exe and hlaparse.exe. I when I tried to compile a program, HLA complained about not being able to open .obj file or something like that.

Boy, that was a disaster.
I've just posted v1.45 (and removed v1.44).
Hopefully this one fares a little better.
As it turns out, the -obj:xxxx command line parameter is far more complex
that I originally anticipated. I believe I've dealt with all the problems in
the v1.45 release.

Let me know if you have any more problems.

Whoops!
I stuck this option in a special program I wrote specifically for RadASM
and then forgot to put it into HLA.EXE :-)
I'll add it to HLA right now and repost v1.45 with this feature in a few
minutes.
