hi electronics frieds,

i'm thinking to switch to Atmel micros, seems they are faster, less expensive, more easy to program than PIC's (similar instruction set of Intel 8086). The counterpart seems to be the difficult availability at the town shop.

What do you think about it ?

This is a nice project with an Atmel i like very much...

nice idea, why do you prefer them to atmel?

bit7, I?d used the 89C51 and 89C52 in the past with great success. Now I?m making a Win32 program to load binary files in the 89C8252 via serial programming algoritm.
For this project I?m using Delphi 6 to program the application, and as interface between asynchronous PC RS232 port and the 89C8252 synchronous SPI port I?m using a PIC 16F628.
I hope all gonna ok and when I?ll finish I gonna post some pictures from project...
Bye:cool:
