I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that will let you decode an opcode, e.g. 8a02 is mov al, .

Use ollydbg (control + E)

I am working on one now. But still lacking alot of support for different opcodes.

SpAsm does have a little dialog, that lets you play with the internal disassembler.

It generates SpAsm's syntax or course. (B$ is BYTE PTR....)

You can use any 32-bit debugger, for example (it is free):

OllyDbg v1.09

In this case type simply "db 8a,02". It opens assembly window and creates the mnemonic mov al, :)
