Today I got a package from Intel with a letter, that reads:

Dear Customer,

Recently you placed an order for one or more of the documents listed below. These documents are being revised and are not expected to be available in print again until February of 2004.

Together with this letter they sent me a CD with IA-32 manuals in PDF format.

That bad news for me because I just ordered my copies . I wish I had looked at this thread sooner.

Time to give life to this post!
I have checked http://www.intel.com/design/pentium4/manuals/index2.htm and saw that it says come back in February 2005 when i first encountered this thread, it was late 2004 so i could not ordered a set. (just lack of luck) But in February 2005 the page still says the same #!!# thing :(
any ideas? may be intel stopped giving out manuals?

inFinie,

I ordered my set last summer and got them within a few weeks. I went through the same thing you are now. Keep checking back (every day) and I'm sure they'll be available soon. They even FedEx'd them to me in Canada free of charge. Worth the wait, I'd say.
