Delphi 200K because you are using the VCL.
I dont use the VCL and my exe size is 8KB minimum =)
Delphi produces smaller executables than VC++

That's because VC++ uses true 0x1000 section alignment. Using a file realigner (vgalign, wipereloc) will make short VC++ files even shorter.

Sory for OT, but one frend of mine is very interesting in it,
He's just able to write 17Kb
(16 Kb is such a low price for not using asm  )

May be it is some thing like:
extern "C" void WinMainCRTStartup() in MS VC?

Congratulations Delight,

"Edit: Fixed the alignment problem."

On my Windows ME and WinXP Pro it works just fine

Azrim,

Get yourself a WinNT based system, use NTFS as the filesystem for your disk, format it with cluster size of 512 bytes and your 1KB file will occupy 1KB on disk :)

that shot was taken on W2k Server SP 4 with NTFS..
I dare not format the HDD now.. too lazy to do a backup

Here is my dialog box example with menu (1536 bytes)

I used also Resource Hacker to save the resources as binary files.
