Hi All,
I've uploaded an addin for Winasm called AddProc. It is a simple dialog based addin that generates the code for a new procedure based on the details you enter or select. It has 7 'pages', each with a specific purpose. However, as it says on the
first page, you can click 'Finish' at any stage to enter the generated code. The readme has all the details.

A HUGE thanks to akyprian for the endless support, help and great ideas.

Note: This now contains an updated version with a couple of bug fixes
plus a right click menu option.

Hi,

What Can I say! Your inteface is excellent. The Add-In "sticks" nicely to WinAsm. Shall I suggest "DWORD" as the default type for Arguments (and Locals may be) ?

excellent :alright:

minor suggestion: have on the title something like "Add New Procedure [2/7]"

Thanks for the kind words akyprian and TBD. I've modified the addin as per your suggestions. Both made sense. We use DWORDs way more than QWORDs, and we should always keep the user informed. The updated version is at the top with my first post.

Hi andrew_k,

It seems that I don't get any of your modifications. Neither my suggestion nor the TBD's one.

Hi All,
I uploaded an update above. This includes a right mouse click popup menu option for quicker navigation plus a couple of bug fixes.

Hi andrew_k,

Where can I right click? It seems it is my ISP again.

Since we are talking about right-click, what would you say if instead of appending your menu item in the Add-Ins menu, you append it in the Edit menu so that it is accessible with right-click?

Another suggestion andrew_k,

If I select WinMain or DLLEntry, then I change my mind and select one of the three remaining Types, it would be better if the Procedure Name edit box was cleared.

Cheers,

akyprian: right click anywhere under the divider line (where back, next, finish, cancel buttons are)
to navigate in the panes without back/next madness

nice touch!

Damn,

Thanks TBD. It seems that you are in andrew_k's mind!

andrew_k,

very very nice idea but not easily found! May be, you better add a "Navigate" button and when users click, you display the menu ?
