Hello guys,
Is there any trick to read a dvd-disk without a dvd-rom ?
I have a cd-rom and cd-rw, and I dont have any money to buy a dvd-rw.
Thanks

man, i don't believe its possible anyhow. do you know the differences between dvd and cd?
- the tracks are smaller (many ?m less!)
- the dvds can be written is 2 layers on both sides
- i know there are more, but i don't know em all...

well, the dimensions of a dvd is identic to a cd, you may put it into your cd-drive, it will spin like happy, but it won't ever read something...

CDR = 702mb
DVDR = something like 4710mb

Um.... it REALLY depends on the hardware. Do you think they'd sell DVDROMs if CDROMs could play them? Also for the above reasons.
