Exactly what the title says... it's a source code, very easy to edit to suit your needs. Just change the values of some equates in the main file, change the file names in the resource script, and rebuild it. Piece of cake :)
It supports both BITMAP and IMAGE resource types, and also a custom shape (for transparencies) using regions.

why we need a splash in assembly
The main purpose of the splash in HLL
is to "hide" how slow the program is rather than for fun..

Not always, take a look at RadAsm :)
And even if your program loads very fast, you might want to have a splash screen with copyright information or the such, for decorative pourposes. (And because nobody reads those "About" boxes anyway :grin: )

I read 'em, and they differ, many program has unique layouts. Some have rather flat, barren about box, and some have a days hard work aboutbox. :)
