QvasiModo: GPF (write error) after calling GetFullPathName (LoadPictureH)

WinXP Pro, SP1

Weird, it's not failing on my Win98 box. I'll try to debug it in an XP box to see what's wrong and fix the problem.
Thanks for the bug report! :)

Crash here too (XP SP1), in a kernel memory area - the crash is right at the GetFullPathName(W) call, as TBD reports.

Version 1.04

Improved image loader routine, should load faster and fix the GPF problem in XP :)

Hey Qvasimodo, would you mind re-posting the tool? Seems like the attachments are gone :(

Here, thanks for letting me know :)

Unfortunately I only have version 1.02 right now, I'll see if I can find 1.04 somewhere.

You can also get it from here, in case the attachment dissapears again...

Thank you very much Qvasimodo.

Do you have some more examples, documents written in MASM on region stuff and region generating?

I'm afraid this is the only code I wrote for region generating, but there's a splash screen example on how to use the generated region:

Qvasimodo could you translate the comments into English in your makeregion program?

Thanks

Hi Qvasimodo
Iíve played with your region calculator(v 1.03 -> MakeRegion104_en.zip). Itís a very cool and useful tool thatís worth to have.  ;)
I noticed a small rendering bug when you resize the main window. The region picture is not updated with the new exposed areas.
