Copy the dll to C:\RadASM\Addins and use Addin Manager to activate it.

- Uses zlib, extremly fast
- Zip a project (or selected files) to a predefined folder ($P\Archive)

Very nice Ketil, makes it easy to package apps. One small suggestion would be to sort by extension.

Err.. im having some trouble getting the Addins manager to install..
(Just downloaded your most recient update package from your site )

Since it didnt come with the "AddinsMana.dll" I compiled the RAP project, got the dll, and placed it in my Addins directory.

As well, i added the suggested line x=AddinsMana.dll, 1 in my RadAsm.ini

Now when i run i get this screen, which doesn help me all to much (Btw, if i remove the Radasm.ini addins this does not appear):

Ah.. i was wrong, you did supply it. I was looking in the wrong directory.

Copying your precompiled version worked.

However, im surprised that my recompiled version failed in this maner.... I changed nothing but the paths to the includes (i still follow hutch's masm directory layouts)..

And perhapse an extra sugestion, you might want to have it create the Archive directory if its not already present...

Anywho this works! Thanks alot!

Hi Ketil,

I would have thought that the rap file would be the place to put the zip info. You could load the defaults from the RadASM.ini file and store them local to a project on creation or modification. That way you can have project specific options including a zip file list unique to each project.

Hi, everyone

Seems like the dll you compiled had not exported "InstallDll". Perhaps you have the buggy MakeDef version?

MakeDef should report version 2.0.0.0 in the Addin Manager, if it doesn't download the Addins from my update thread.

BTW, how do I make my addins report it's name, description and version?
Posted on 2003-08-30 13:56:23 by QvasiModo
In explorer right click on it's icon and select properties or hilite it in addins manager.

Right, the version info resource.
Thanks!

It would be interesting to have a message box (or a message in a status bar) at the end of the zip process, in order to get the info that the zip file has been created successfully. And maybe the size of the resulting zip...

This question because probably I'm too lazy to go an look inside the "archive" folder!

Better yet, how about using the output window?

Hi all

New upload at the top.

- Fixed serious bugs (memory not freed. Attemt to add the zip itself caused GPF).
- List of files zipped shows in output window.

QvasiModo: the idea of using the output window was good, I didn't thought about that...

KetilO: thanks for the update, you're really great in supporting your users :alright:

Hi all

New upload at the top.

- Saves last dialog position & size.

Hi KetilO,

I've downloaded the new version, that should:

- Saves last dialog position & size.
- Option to set default zip path.
- Current source path is shown in the dialog.

But I doesn't save position & size, and doesn't have the other two features...

The dll is dated: September 05, 2003, 12:04:58 AM

Hi Cip

Your browser probably cashed the old zip. Try clearing the cashe before downloading.
