Hi,
I've tried to find out some documentation for IDA free version. I've found only this link:

http://www.eccentrica.org/Mammon/tales/idaprimer.txt

written by Mammon, but it's not working. Do you know, where can I get some documentation? Thanks in advance.

No problem. I find Google's cache to be indespensible at times. Especially for older websites about MASM.

BTW, you've downloaded the IDA Pro Getting Started manual despite it being for the (1999) full version right? http://www.datarescue.be/idafreeware/STARTED.PDF

I saw last night that version 4.5.x now has an integrated debugger! But then I saw the $799 price for the advanced version ($399 for standard).

QuickStart Guide - thanks, I'm downloading it just now :)

It sounds very interesting, but $399 is almost common month salary here :( The same with S-ICE.

You most likely will not need the advanced version - and if you're a student, they offer 50% discount on the price. Makes it managable to buy this great piece of software.

f0dder,
thanks for info. I'll save my money ;) because I'm not a student.
