when adding a button or changing a control, it (radasm) will usually overwrite my xxdlg.rc control - maybe I am not using it in the correct way - I have to go back to my .INC file and add something like:

IDC_BTN5 equ 1016

after adding button5 to the dialog which is ok for me; when I change or add a control using the dialog editor, it will change my buttonstyles back to what they were - I keep having to go back and put in |BS_BITMAP manually with each change. What am I doing wrong?

Hi drarem

Don't edit the xxDlg.rc file. As you have discoverd RadASM will overwrite your changes.
Use the dialog editor to set the xStyle for BS_BITMAP, value 80h or 10000000b.

I looked for BS_BITMAP on both the xStyle and exStyle, did not see it. Other than that, I would not have a problem not editing the .rc file :) Lots of WS_BORDER, WS_ this and WS_ that.. no BS_ styles..
