would it be hard to open a text document (lets say Text1) and match it against words in Text2 and if there is a match then highlight the words in Text1(anyhow.. make bold or colour)
and how could i do it?

Open Text1 and store its words in a buffer. Then do the same with Text2. Compare these texts (you can also use functions of the DLLs) and if there is a match change that word to other font. You can do everything with the functions of Windows.

Good luck

Use CreateFont, SetTextColor functions. Take a look to Tutorial number 5 in this site. With those functions you can modify the properties of your text.

This sounds alot like syntax highlighting. Check out Iczelions three tutorials on that subject at his web site.
