when I open a file, which for example contains "AAAAA" (5xA). And I set the Pointer to 3 and write "BBB" will the file look like this: "AABBBAAA" or like this: "AABBB"?
Another question: The file looks like this "AABAA" how do I delete the "B"? (I know it's position..)

Thanx for your help!

It will look like: "AABBB"

If the file has "AABAA" and you want to delete the B - you need to copy it manually skip the B. Like:

lea eax, BufferToFile
add eax, OffsetToLetterToCutOut (like 3)
.WHILE byte ptr != 0
mov cl, byte ptr
mov byte ptr , cl
