hey guys ... i'm a not a high level programmer ... but i reallly loved the assembly interface through c programming language... what i would like to know is that 'is there ne book avilible on "acessing hardware through c language (using assembly language)"

ps:- i just want some entry level info on "accessing hardware through c language" . like the list of interrupts & service numbers & their input output registers respecivly. & just the basic knowledge of how to call them through c programms & how to classify the results for their use in our programs. .thx in advance.

Assuming your using the Windows OS, you'll find that since its multithreaded the hardware has been abstracted with windows drivers. Only these programs get directly at the hardware and use int's etc. If your aiming to write a driver in assembly then there is some resources for this...
