stupid linux samba question,
like "network resources" in windows, i would like to see all the client connected of my workgroup. I'm using lan browser of kde, i now to see a single client i have to do smb://client and it works. But i would like to see listed all togheter...

try smb:/// or smb://
on my fedora core 1 I use smb:/// in nautilus (gnome) - takes for ever (don't know why, but every samsa operation I do seems to take lot of time (but once I'm connected to a share and have retived the list it's just as fast as expected (when copyuing/moving files)))

I have rg 9, and come a programm that is called 'xfsamba' in that way is a nice tool, and let you mount the external sources ;)
If you dont have the prohramm, I think you need watch for it.

Maybe you know also in what file i have to write smb:/// as default, so everytime i click "LAN Browser" i get the samba clients...

Sorry don't know that, but as I use natuils I got a "Networs servers" (actually it "N?tverksservar", (l10n) - I'm just guessing the enlish name) 'link' in my redhat-gnome-menu-thingy - it's alwasys leads to smb:///.
