Hey.

How do the graphics libraries work ... DirectX and OpenGL

how can I create those libraries to do simple things. to draw points, lines, polygons...

Besides my important doubt: how to create trigonometrical functions using ASM

About your important doubt:

1. You can use static table.

2. Polynominal Approximation

3. You can use FPU: FSIN,FCOS,FSINCOS,FPTAN,FPATAN

If you only wanna draw 2D stuff, I recommend you stick to DirectDraw, under DirectX 7.0
For that matter, you don't really need DirectX at all, unless you wanna make fullscreen stuff.. if its windowed, you can stick to the gdi functions for drawing 2D stuff in a window.

with a lot of good algorithms ;)

I think the source of OGL is somewhere.... you can read them... :D

Have a nice day or night.

"the source of OGL" - does that actually make sense, considering graphic card vendors implement their own versions? Is there like a software-only reference version available from SGI, with source? Otherwise there's opensource MESA, but... meh. Probably somewhat over your head if you're asking how to draw points ^_^
