Reading over the article I cannot see what prevents one from executing native code. It seems there would be limitations, but it certainly seems possible. I need to get my Picturebook back from my mother and give it a try. :)

What would prevent a section of upper memory from being paged in and out by the video card? Not the whole thing of course. As long as the CMS runs from upper memory and we can write to upper memory it should be possible. Running the processor at full speed would prevent some problems with code alignment. A lot of work.
