Do you know any?

Looking for a tool, that monitors parameters and return values for calls to DeviceIoControl.

I try to find out, why PowerDVD does not play my self-authored DVD from disc (it plays correct from harddrive). PowerDVD uses the DeviceIoControl to read sectors from the disc, and I want to know, at which offset it hangs. I tried several tools, but the ones I used dont work together with PowerDVD, if simply failes with an internal error message.

Hi, beaster

I'm very busy, but in the future I will wrote a
device driver that do this,
because I'm needing one too.

Do you tried the "Developer Playground" wroted
by Jonas Blunck & Kim Gr?sman ?

Maybe it helps you!

Good Luck :alright:

You could take a look at DriverspyNt by Jeremy Collake, it monitors IRPs, if a basic APISpy doesn't help you.

Great program, Kayaker!

Unfortunately, it don't show the
stack parameters of the IOCTL.

But is a beggining!

Great idea intercepting IRPs!
