How do I start up this dumb thing??????

I want to use it with MASM32.
There are hundreds of programs involved and I can't find a starting
point. Is there a Tut or readme file?
I have Visual Studio 6.0
I have no icon for it and there is nothing in the startup that I can find.

Thanks for any help.

What about reading the manual, or calling support?

Use it with MASM???

I don't understand what you want to do exactly.

But about using the Visual Studio it self, you just go to the start menu and click on the Visual C++ for example in the program files.
If it's not there you may need to reinstall it.

After you open it you will click on Files->New,
then a dialog opens tell you what type of project you want just click win32 console for basic program and simple one. There you will have to choose between some types of programs. May be the one that could help you to get into the basic thing is the basic "Hello world" program. Select it and then see the code written in C.

About writing asm in C or so called inline assembly:
just
__asm

{
blah
blah
blah
}

and so on.

If any help just write,

I think he asked how to start the IDE or something ;]
Try devenv.exe (IDE) or cl.exe (command line compiler)
