Does anyone know, if Charles Petzold's 23 example programs
are translated from C to Assembly :?

IF they are, I would be more than happy -
then I don't have to struggle translating
it. I don't know much about C++ if any.

I don't know of any translations but if you have visual c++ you can have a look at it's asm output. :)

Do you know how to make an output file from C++ to Asm,
using Visual Studio 6 :?

Is it better, than looking at the code using OllyDbg
or a Disassembler :?

Use the /FAs switch when compiling - you could do "cl /FAs /c example23.c"

There are all over here and masmforum. You just need to search for it or you can shout for Ratch.. I think he converted example 1 to 13.

I haven't had much time to work on it lately, but I've started creating a tutorial on using the Win32 API with C and assembly that covers using VC++ to output assembly files.

Great !

I will take a look at it, when you're finished
with your project :)

Thanks, but that will be awhile. I started working on it when I had a few weeks off from school. I've been looking into changing the layout.

I'm (obviously) limited in my experience, but hope to bridge the gap in my understanding of simple examples onto more difficult programs as I work on expanding the website. Hopefully the site will help people new to Win32 programming understand the basics.
