Does anyone know where Windows stores the settings that determine which item in Start Menu->Programs is shown or not? Only the recently used items should be shown, so its a location that probably stores dates when you opened some item last time.
I do not want to disable the Personalized Menus functionality, but only wish to find the location where Windows stores the above described data.

Never mind, I have investigated with SysInternals' RegMon.
The keys seem to be here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserAssist
What is weird about it, is that entries for the menu items are encrypted with ROT13 (only the letters, the symbols and numbers stay intact)
