i searched this board and i could find a few topics about the same subject but none containing any code or a (working) link to code.

i want my prog to run fullscreen without any titlebar nor border, i use CreateWindowEx to create my window, ive tried to change some param's but i didnt find any solution, can someone enlighten me with the solution? (i was thinking about using SetWindowLong, maybe this will work?)

To get the desired effect, create the window with this window style:

WS_VISIBLE or WS_MAXIMIZE or WS_POPUP

For the extended style, I'd recommend:

WS_EX_TOPMOST

(just that -- no additional extended style)

thanks, WS_POPUP suits my needs

i tryed this one before only in combination with WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW because i read that in some topic, only WS_POPUP for the window style does the trick

If you want a fullscreen app, use the ChangeDisplaySettings function with the CDS_FULLSCREEN param. See Windows API reference for more information. I hope I helped a little at least.

And with the POPUP style, you can still have a menu at the top of your window if you so wish. You can even make it "auto-hide" with a bit of coding!!!
