Great to have you back, donkey!
You've been missed indeed. I hope you're doing well :)

right now no avatars or file-uploads

with my current hosts' setup that leaves some security issues I can't control and I'm not risking that anymore :|

I'll think of a safe way to do it all but right now it's not an immediate option anymore, sorry.

When you get the time (and if it's a quick thing to do), could you do a SQL job to reset everybody's avatars? - that way we won't get those ugly broken image icons :)

it's good to have you back, donkey ^_^

f0dder, in FireFox there are no such broken images - they get replaced by text like "Smile" "Very Happy" , and the avatars are as if not specified. Some days ago FireFox1.0 came out, maybe you should check it out

Ultrano, IMHO IE does the right thing in displaying a "broken image" image, since the image in the IMG tag does not exist... it also does display the ALT text. I might give firefox another try considering v1.0 is out, but I wasn't overly impressed with any of the previous versions. It loads a fraction of a second slower than IE, and that is enough to annoy me ;)

:) I never thinked that, I was thinked that smile :) was replaced in PHP and not the browser... lol, havent opended the board with IE ... lol
