Hi there, watching for updates I note something new apart from the new layout that I like more in that way, also more structure, dont know if you already know, but here is ;).

http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/

What Im talking about is about quemu Accelerator http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/qemu-accel.html

EmulatorTypical application slow down
ratio compared to native

QEMUbetween 5 and 10
QEMU + QEMU acceleratorbetween 1 and 2

The QEMU Accelerator Module increases the speed of QEMU when a PC is emulated on a PC. It runs most of the target application code directly on the host processor to achieve near native performance. It is very useful when you want to run another Operating System (for example Windows) on a Linux desktop.

But...

Currently it is only available for a Linux host running a kernel 2.4.x or 2.6.x.

Hope we will get it for Windows, tought it is closed source the kerneldriver used for linux If I understood correctly be the same autor?? (dont trust in me, sometimes my understand of english is wrong and more in cases about Licensing :P)

It also say that can be comparated with some virtualizers ;), nice...

Bad that I dont have Linux in this momment :S :(.

Interesting not you think?

You can now download the version 0.7.0 for Windows here http://www.freeoszoo.org/download.html

It add 4 new graphic modes http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/changelog.html there say only added 3 more, but I see one more... :)...

Something bring to the eye??

- added generic 64 bit target support
- x86_64 target support

Remember that kquemu is a driver for Linux... then not for Windows.
