Here's a logo I made for fun. It's nearly the same as Rezo's logo already in use on the main page except for the spinning 3d gear. I still think Rezo's is better, though. :)

Sorry, I mean Reza, not Rezo.

If you could make one that says "WinASM Community", that would be great. "Win32ASM" is no longer being used.
For the nostalgic because 32 bits will go away sooner...
Here is a good link of paintings, carvings and other....

It is hard to see the 'n' in "Win"
Here's a version of mine. Included is the source .xcf (GIMP image). You could toy with the Hue/Lightness/Saturation to improve it.
Since SMF shows the image downsized, and some viewers don't show alphachannels:

your logo was a bit too slow for asm, so... ;>

Slow? You mean rendering the alpha-channel and extra color-depth that PNG gives over GIF, which can be easily removed once the background color of the board is decided on?
no, i meant this:

I really like the spinning gear logo if we can just clean up the 'n'. It's cool.
On second thought, why a gear? I'm not sure I grab the immediate meaning. Perhaps something else would be more appropriate?

The gear doesn't have any meaning, I think. I just makes it look cool and gives it a technical look. What do you think should be there? (If anything)

Do you mean how the gear doesn't spin smoothly?
Yeah, the gear doesn't spin smoothly in Opera at least - it does in the old version of ACDSee I use, but that one does sometimes have problems with gif animation delays :)
Ultrano, with all due respect, there's something about the color scheme and main font in your logo that bugs me. I kind like the one with the gear because it's "soft" and doesn't "hit you in the face" (aka it's neutral).

yes... i assume you did that on purpose :)
Tola,
The gear is meant to be moving smoothing, I don't know why it moves like a clock gear but it looks alright to me
Ultrano's logo looks alright but it is a bit too colourful and as f0dder said, it needs to be more 'neutral' (grey shades etc..)

well... the gif contains 4 frames and the gear is in the same position at the first and last frame.
Yes, my logo's too colorful, that's why I mentioned tampering with the HSV ^^. I'm short of fonts, too :|
The gear logo is nice - but animated images tend to get annoying after a while.
Anyway... are logos that important in a board like this ;P

You're right, Tola. Here's the logo with the last frame removed.

You can get free fonts from http://www.larabiefonts.com/
The only fonts I used in the logo were Arial and Verdana.
For now, it will be the logo of these forums. Thanks programinator :)
Thank you SpooK :D
