Here is a best asm editor I have ever seen. In attachment is my file masm32.shk that contains 9200 keywords for syntax highlighting in that editor.

Very professional looking with programmer friendly features:
    [*]Very fast screen update
[*]PROC list for quick goto source
    [*]Flexible coloring
    [*]Flexible interface
[*]Keyboard shortcutsYour word list is quite an improvement. Thx!

I have to agree it is quite nice, but the one fault i find with it is it only has one window. Quite often im piecing code together from other work, which is solved quite easily with multiple window suport (preferably tab controlled over MDI )

NaN, You are right, the problem You talk about is very boring. I am going to ask an author to correct it in the next version. But there is another problem else. I think the native keyword master of the editor is not very comfortable. So I have done a program that can easy generate *.shk files from MS Access database. The program has been written in VB6, so it requires VB6 run-time libraries, comdlg32.ocx, MS ADO 2.1. The current database contains all Pentium III instructions, all directives of masm 6.15, 6400 constants, 1540 win32 api functions, 400 structures, all functions of masm32.lib, total 9200 keywords.

Hey, what about vi? Everyone knows that's the best editor.

Down with emacs!

Grin, cmonahan. Vi... well, ok, if I'm forced to use a very dumb terminal,
perhaps. I prefer nano though, at least it's key sequences are
somewhat comprehensible, and you don't get stuck in weird
editing modes. I'd still prefer a nice fullscreen editor with some colors though ;).

If I could get stupid linux to work -- gives me stupid errors when trying to insmod ne2k-pci.o -- I would use vi. But right now I have a shot on sight policy regarding penguins.

Hope you sent a copy to the author. :)

I had simular frustrations (since i didnt see any menu options), and decided to do it the brute force way.. I renamed the 'Default.shk' and then renamed the masm32.shk to default.shk..

It worked, but then again, i dont know if this is how it was intended...

amr, select Highlight-Add New menu in Asm Editor. Then input "masm32" in a text box. Editor will create an empty file masm32.shk. Then close editor and replace its masm32.shk by my masm32.shk. And run editor again. I hope you understand my English. ;)

Had the same problem, added a new one then edited the INI manually from there.
