Hello all!
I need to transfer video over internet, using point 2 point connection, like Skype does. A problem is, that Skype and MSN requires WinXP, while I have Win2K. I found some programms (http://videolan.org, for example), but I don't want to set up a server. Also, I tried to use MS NetMeeting, but quality is the worsest...
Can someone advise me a simple client for real-time video transfer?
TIA, Mikae.

The current version of MSN runs on w2k. The MSN-Live requires XP.
Yahoo supports videochat, though it was limited iirc.
Video-transfer... you mean webcam, right? Frogcam might be useful.

Yes, I have web cam. I read more about VLC (http://videolan.org). It seems to me that it is possible to use it without server. But all my tryings to set up it failed.
"Frogcam" -- is it a program? :) Does it require special devices? Can you give a link its web-site?
TIA, Mikae.

camfrog.org . Although now they label it as "for WinXP", I've run it on w2k here. I had a problem with my extremely-old webcam/camera/mp3player, but only because I had only vfw ("video for windows", ancient standard) drivers.
Thanks! Looks like what I need :).
