... because of the Icon. Without it, the exe size is 4.096 byte :grin:

Kan't wait for the new version -- didn't get a chance to download the first. IMHO (ok not humble), all media players I've seen so far explicit deleted.

It would be a very disgusting thing for Micro$oft, if this player uses a standard media player control. I have several movies on my hd (divX) and neither Mediaplayer 6.x nor mediaplayer 7.x is able to play a lot of them. However this tiny rocking proggy can. *g* I like microsoft :tongue:

And nope, I didn't notice any errors while running.
Will your new version include scrolling to a specific scene in the movie using the POSBAR at the top?

u load the library "msvfw32.dll" with LoadLibraryA function .. then search for "MCIWndcreate" function with GetProcAddress function ;).

If I would hide, how this player is done, I'd do it... but this isn't a secret. The way, how to reach a target is not important... but the result is!

I just started a complete new Version of the player....
