can you explain your problem a bit more? Using ODBC? Using SQL? Do you want to connect to or create a database ?

Thanks beaster For reply. I want to create data base file from start, then create table & Fields in it. I know how to create table & Fields using ODBC, but there must be ".MDB" file present. How can i begin without having ".MDB" file using ODBC coding in assembly. Thanks

I afraid this is no function of the ODBC interface, because it is a specific MS-ACCESS function to create an empty MDB file. Maybe you can try to prepare an empty MDB file and clone it. Setting up a new datasource can be done with SQLConfigDataSource, but it will need an existing database. beaster.

i don't even know what are data base file, but i suppose that an empty MDB file is not very big, so you could add one in your rc file and extract it when you need it. (s)
