Is there any option in LINK.EXE that can change the output filename? I would like to compile directly to a custom extension (as opposed to .exe or .dll then renaming) Thanks

Did you even check the manual??? (or at least the help file that comes with the MASM32 package???). All you need to do is add a "/OUT:filename.ext" as an option for LINK.EXE. You can then give it extensions different from .exe or .dll!!! Take care, Tiago Sanches

Ahhh, I was leaving out the semicolon. Now my compile .ocx batfile truly makes an .ocx
