Here's my problem: When I drag a MDI child window to the TOP of the window, the HScroll bar appears and disappears in a sporatic mannor. hutch's MDIDEMO in /MASM32/EXAMPLE2/MDIDEMO does this too. Anyone know why they do this?

This seems to be a "feature" of MDI. ;)

I believe you are correct, as I tried several other 'commercial' apps with same results. Seems for 1 MDI child it messes up. 2 or more and it's OK. Feature. Definately a feature.

Ernie, I concur with Iczelion, this "feature" automatically displays either or both of the scroll bars if the first or any other MDI child window goes partly out of the visual client area. AH Microsoft, You've done it again. :) Regards, hutch@pbq.com.au
