Simply add the LVS_EX_HEADERDRAGDROP extended style to your listview. latez, Jeremy

hi, again i'm still having problems with this.. i can't make the listview extended styles work right none of then actually. i put them there but.. nothing happens:(. i'm using Iczellion tut 31 to test this:

.if uMsg==WM_CREATE 
    invoke CreateWindowEx, LVS_EX_HEADERDRAGDROP,\ 
           addr ListViewClassName, NULL,\
           LVS_REPORT+WS_CHILD+WS_VISIBLE,\

You cant use the style creating the window, you need to do this: invoke SendMessage,hList,4150,0,LVS_EX_HEADERDRAGDROP

thank you! i've already tried but with SetWindowLong, specifying the extended style flag, it didn't work either. after digging the microsoft site i've found a document saying what you just said.. :) it's here bye ensein
