Can someone recommend me a good hex editor for Windows? Freeware if possible. Thanks =)
I would be tempted to have a look at Ewayne Wagner's assembler freeware HEX editor, its on Iczelion's site from memory. Regards, firstname.lastname@example.org
I like hworks32 from Hex Workshop by Breakpoint Software. You can download a trial version from their site.
If you're using ultraedit. There is a built in hex editor, otherwise use the hexworkshop 3.11 (I think that's the latest?) from www.bpsoft.com This message was edited by umberg6007, on 3/13/2001 6:08:44 PM
hexit, http://mklasson.cjb.net . It is a DOS editor, but it is so good that I always have to recommend it when people are talking about hex editors ;)
I am using HIEW (Hacker's Viewer)! Even though I am NOT a hacker I like the functions he has and since I tried him first I don't want to change! Simply search for it on your favourite Search-Engine Stefan
hiew that's da bomb I never used anything else :ashamed:
Nothing is better than HIEW. It's peice of ART. The Svin.
