In windows.inc there are a few lines like: MYSYMBOL equ 2UL What does "UL" mean? Also, is there any danger in replacing e.g. 3L with 3 or -1L with -1? I would just look in the manual, but I had an accident and lost some dll's -- will reinstall Word after I recuperate.

im not the best source for this info but what i found is that iczelion or hutch whomever converted the samples i was looking at in the windows.inc file just left out the UL or L at the end of the number. cant tell you what they mean though. smurf

I'm not quite sure but UL sounds like 'unsigned long' to me :)

Thanks guys. I suspect "unsigned long". Maybe this part of windows.inc was pasted from some *.h or some other assembly-language original.
