Afternoon, All.

I received an interesting question from someone, who'd like to know :

~"Is there any way to call Win32 and DirectX functions from a C++ compiler's *inline asm*?"~

I'm assuming this means calling COMponents using inline assembly.

Any ideas?

So you don't feel ingored I'll add something (well, very little) here.

Without asking "why" you would wish to do so (since the VC call will probably compile to the same instructions anyway), yes you could.

Please check the Coinvoke vs mcall thread for a discussion that may help you do so.
