Ah, if it's edit&continue then that indeed is pretty smart, and usually works pretty well for me in C++ (for debug exes, anyway).

So....

a)
Amazon is offering a free download called "Kindle for the PC" and there are thousands of free books at no cost. Genius marketing?

b)
Ubuntu has now a "Ubuntu Software Center" menu item where you can install apps in one click. This really does me in. Anyone can do this. The Synaptic Manager is great but can you see your mom using it to install something? No! Next time my mom kills her windows install I'll give her ubuntu instead. That comes from me who believed for many years that the most useful linux command was fdisk/mbr :)

c)
Salute to Veterans all over the world.

Gee, I'm chatty lately... Interesting news. I have a Google Voice and set it up as an emergency phone for my kids' school which rings my house phone and both of our cellphones along with a cellphone of a friend of the family.

I'd love to ditch my phone companies for whatever Google would offer. I pay $120 a month for cellphones and $30 for the landline at home.

It's rude to charge this much for something which everyone is expected to have.
