If you have the time,I need folks to test my
resource editor and only for one function:
(Move the Groupbox)

Load the ResEditor by clicking on the ResEditTest.exe.

1. Select the Dialog Tab.
2. Select the Draw a dialog toolbar button.
3. Draw the Dialog.
4. Select the GroupBox toolbar button.
5. Draw the GroupBox.
6. Check the Move GrpBox Checkbox.
7. Move the cursor over the Groupbox.
8. Do a mouse left click, hold down and move the cursor.

Does it leave behind the right and bottom border?

Ketilo is having a problem with that and so far
I have not heard from anyone else that is having
that problem.

No problem here at work. NT4.
Little flicker if I move it real fast. ;)

I did have a problem with the other version on WinXP.
Will test this version when I get home.

Hi Ewayne,

Works fine on WinME...no residual lines here (and there wasn't any on your original version with the double-left-click/hold/move on my system either).

WinXP here. It doesn't leave anything behind, but when you drag it, the groupbox stays there for a sec until it disappears while you're moving it.

I would like to thank everyone for their help,
it looks like the problem is isolated to the
one WinSE machine that Ketilo tested on. It
works ok on other WinSE machines so I'm not
going to worry about it.

But I will still rewrite the Groupbox routine,
just to get rid of the flicker (I hate flicker).

The Groupbox flickers because it's ownerdrawn.

Thanks again,
