i know how to change the pixels in graphical mode but i dont know how to load a picture. any suggestions?
anyone know how to program file systems? input and output without wreaking the device.
im looking for people interested in making a super fast os
that boots to desktop quickly. id like to make it a developer studio add a 3d animation tool for programming.
anyone know a good book that would help for x86?

Nope, never been done before. Why would anyone do it in Assembly? Just searched google, yahoo, bing and found not one open source OS written in Assembly... nope not one :P
