sounds interesting!

I'm trying to import powerpoint files into my own software, but I did not found any information about its fileformat.

So I started to operate PPoint via OLE automation from the outside.

I initiate an program start, open file, and copy each element via clipboard into my own application.

Also clipboard uses the IStorage and IStream stuff, while the format of the contained data is also completely undocumented.

Can you give me a short explanation, how these interfaces are structured inside office (file / clipboard) data?

beaster,
why don't you just grab the StarOffice sources and look at their PowerPoint import function? :) - http://www.Sun.com
