Hmmm Things have sure come along way since the Z-80 Chipset. and then again things are still the same cuase they still use the Z-80 chipset.. just for differnt things heheh:)

It looks like you need some decent reference material, go to the Intel site and get the pentium manuals as they are the best around and have heaps of stuff that you will find useful.
