Hello all,

Readiosys wrote (dunno if he's away, I asked him twice but got no reply.. so I'm asking you all now):

Using the 24 804 587 bytes large win32hlp file available on Iczelion's website...

you mean http://spiff.tripnet.se/~iczelion/files/win32api.zip ?
The file compressed is about 8MB.. are you sure that uncompressed it becomes ~24MB? Mine is only ~11MB. I want the bigger one :D some functions were definitely missing in my ~11MB file.

I just need to know if there's any WIN32.HLP more complete than the one I have right now (which is 11MB only).

Thanks!
Maverick

If you have a high speed connection, you can download the Core SDK. This file is huge, 231.7 MB, but it contains the latest helpfiles.
These helpfiles are dated 2001. The 24 MB file is dated 1998.

Yup, that looks like my copy.

Maybe the "other" one has graphics that actually work. That would be nice...

My WIN32.HLP is 12607331 bytes and dates 2/3/97.

Its part of a Borland package BCB3. This version has 29.4 meg of files altogether and they are not like the slightly earlier version that had BETA stuff in it.

Thomas, since you got the biggest one  can you zip it (better, rar (or even better ace (return()))) and upload it somewhere? :)

what i also have to mention is that the lcc one does not have the nice 'group' tab, to display apis belong to a group ;(

I have various versions, but haven't noticed significant differences between them. If one file is 24 MB unzipped / 5.5 MB zipped, and another one is 11 MB unzipped / 8 MB zipped, this tells me that the first one has less info with more padding :)

Thank you all, and thanks, Thomas, for the work and the bandwidth:) I've downloaded it.. so you can decrement of one unit the reference count. ;)
