When im coding I like to listen to music released by the demo scene actually.
The music is free and alot of insanely good tunes too. +No vocals in
the music. I cant program if someone is screaming in my ear! ( )

Being an old man, I listen to stuff like Mighty Joe Young, Lacy Gibson, BB King, Otis Redding, A.C. Reed, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Wilson Picket etc.., although they were mostly before my time I just love BLUES and MOTOWN. Can't get enough of it.

I've recently become very fond of Rammstein even though I've no idea what most of the songs mean.

Also I like Metallica, and pretty much any rock, heavy or light as long as it doesn't sound like random noise (which is different for everyone of course).

It's not that Rammsteion has anything important in it's lyrics anyway

The few English versions I've heard I don't even like (well Angel is ok). I think German just suits that style of music and singing :) .

I suppose since everyone else made out a big list I may as well make one, don't laugh, I have a quirky taste in music.

U2, R.E.M, Sting, Peter Gabreil, Metallica, Guns N Roses, Phil collins,Posted on 2003-01-10 13:06:50 by Eóin

stealth ,
what's that? gothic trance ? is that your own composition ?

Nah, it's from an old adventure game called Monkey Island 2, I don't think it's trance, but it might give a proper mood when coding something hacky...

Hey, maybe someone here knows the name of a song by System of a Down that has the chorus fade quiet then loud again throughout the song... It's sounds cool, and having trouble finding the name...
