anybody knows how to add a program to the windows
system configuration (don't know the exact name in english,
this menue under start\options\system-config\software)?
i still don't get it, the simplest tasks like creating a stupid
shortcut or something else that sounds like "ah, 2 minutes"
are so damn hard to implement, how comes that i don't
find anything that describes how to do such things...:(
pls don't aswer just "COM", i'm not afraid of com but i need
to know how to do it (not exactly, something like a key-word
should be enough) thank you :)

Sorry, can't resist :)

Do you mean in "Start/Einstellungen/Systemsteuerung/Software" an own Option for uninstalling your Software? Or just a own Programm in "Systemsteuerung"? Last one is solved with a CPL file.

(deleted my first post, I misunderstood you)

MSDN has some info about this.. I'll see if I can find the links (I saved them somewhere)

bazik google is my weapon nr. 1 for questions that have
to be solved, thats why i rarely post questions here...
but i must admit that i hate to search msdn... maybe it's
just me but i'm tired of stumbling though 1000000000000
pages of crap before finding a simple solution.

thomas i'll bet you mean this one ... wow this is the first time i found something
usefull in a really short amount of time there.

and it seems to be really really easy to implement too...
windows\currentversion\uninstall ... pheew that rescued
me... so thank you :) :) :)
