Well i think this will be my last post about this question... but can somebody tell why if im assembling with /Zi and linking with /DEBUG WinDbg dont load the symbols and the ".pdb" file is in the correct directory?

If you are using Microsoft's Windbg, then these are the
command line options that are working for me.
ML.EXE /c /coff /Zi /Zd project.asm

LINK.EXE /SUBSYSTEM:WINDOWS /DEBUG /DEBUGTYPE:CV /PDB:project.pdb /PDBTYPE:SEPT project.obj project.res

Replace "project" with your own file names.

i figure that after installing windbg i also have to install symbols 500 mb i dont think its worth it, is it possible to load symbol file *.pdb to other debuggers such as ollydbg and how.
