All you need to do is edit your index.html file

In the FRAME tags replace the backslashes with fronslashes
done. Mozilla works fine after this.

attached a fixed one, open it with netscape

Thanks for the help.

Heya Ketil,

I gave the latest version of RadASM a shot and well, I'm sorry to say that a couple new 'improvements' make my programming life a little harder. Both are much of the same nature.

First whenever I'm typing on an API and the helpful note pops up and I hit 'SHIFT-SPACE' it fills the word from the note in. In means, I know this is pretty helpful but believe me, I had no idea how often I hit 'Shift-Space' by accident. It drives me insane. And I'd love to turn this one off somehow.

Second is pretty much the same just I don't really know where it comes from. Whenever I type 'LOCAL' a note pops up giving me a dropdown menu of choices. Same if I type '@' suddenly a dropdown menu pops up giving me all those @CatStr etc possibilities. It's annoying to hit Esc first whenever I want to use a jump ;) Maybe this is my fault tho as I moved some words from your list into other slots (in EditorColors) to get an empty one which I could use for macros I use etc.

Best Regards,
JimmyClif

Hi JimmyClif

There is no way to turn off Shift+Space, unless you delete the word list.
There should be no way a popup list could appear only by typing @. You must have typed Shift+Space.
Moving keywords from one 'slot' in Editor Color only affects hiliting, nothing else.

Hi,all
I can't tuoch internet for 20 days long ago.
So I edit the Radasm.exe in my computer,
Only change the propoties bar(?CODE Tip) font(MS Sans serif,7 to Tahoma,8),
and create an Tahoma,7bold for the TabTitle.
"MS sans serif" and "system,fixedsys"looks so ugly,:)

I think there no need to hack the ver 1204,
Usauly Ketlo will edit his code.
Posted on 2002-08-05 02:43:54 by Const.Ex
Hi Const.Ex

Yes, Tahoma looks nicer.
That said, I am not shure why you prefer hacking into the code. It is considered bad by many on this board, including me. RadASM has an advanced addin feature where you have access to all window handles.

Here I have made some changes to the FlipCase addin to set the font, source included.

KetilO:
Hmm,I am sorry to edit your exe file ,but I must let you know the "Why"~:grin:
Because I am puzzy how the addin works,
after I write an "Setstyle" addin though view Readme files guide,
It's only popup an dialogbox when RadASM starting,
While I click the Style and Exstyle Item,

in installdll I added:
mov eax, RAM_CLOSE or RAM_SETSTYLE
; Tell RadASM messages we want to hook
xor ecx, ecx
xor edx, edx

ret

InstallDll Endp

DllProc proc hWnd:HWND,uMsg:UINT,wParam:WPARAM,lParam:LPARAM

mov eax,uMsg
.IF eax==AIM_SETSTYLE
invoke ShowWindow,hMainDLG,SW_SHOWNORMAL or SW_RESTORE
mov hMainDLG,eax
mov eax,TRUE
ret
.ELSEIF eax==AIM_CLOSE
invoke DestroyWindow,hMainDLG
.ENDIF
mov eax,FALSE;for all messages except private WM_COMMANDs,
ret

DllProc endp

It doesnt work,I've no idea,then choose to edit exe file.
:stupid:
I must study the Filpcase sourcecode to know how the Addin works,:cool:

Hi Const.Ex

You are on the right way to create a style settings addin.
To help you a little more I have added a little testcode in the FlipCase addin.
I strongly recomend using a modal dialogbox. Then you dont have to handle dialog edit window closing and control switching.

Very Thx.
I will have a try.
A little question How to get the control's kind,
for example "button","static","Dialog" because there none these param in AIM_SETSTYLE?
Is "DIALOG struct" contrain these info?
Posted on 2002-08-06 02:23:37 by Const.Ex
Oh I see an

DIALOG struct
hwnd dd ? ;Set to TRUE
partype dd ? ;Dialog=1, Controls=0
oldproc dd ? ;Set to NULL
hpar dd ? ;Set to NULL
hcld dd ? ;Set to NULL
style dd ? ;Set to desired style
exstyle dd ? ;Set to desired ex style
x dd ? ;X position in pixels
y dd ? ;Y position in pixels
ccx dd ? ;Width in pixels
ccy dd ? ;Height in pixels
caption db 241 dup(?) ;Caption max 240 char
ntype dd ? ;Follows ToolBox buttons Dialog=0, Edit=1, Static=2, GroupBox=3
spare1 dd ? ;Set to NULL
tab dd ? ;Tab index, Dialog=0, First index=0
id dd ? ;Dialog / Controls ID
idname db 32 dup(?) ;ID Name, max 31 chars
undo dd ? ;Set to NULL
himg dd ? ;Set to NULL
DIALOG ends

in addin templeta,hehe......
:stupid:

Hi Const.Ex

The ntype member of the DIALOG struct tells you the type.
ntype=0 dialog
ntype=1 edit
ntype=2 static
ntype=3 groupbox

It follows the button index on the dialog design toolbox.
For custom controls you should return control to RadASM. (Return FALSE).

All versions 0f RadAsm 1.2. xx > then 06.24 release
generate GPFs on Win NT 4.0.
Maybe it's time to make it stable?
I hope you'll understand me, I switched to RadAsm when there already where a lot of usefull features to make the step. I hoped that in time those features would be refinded and the app in general would be more stable, but since just a lot of new features being added and added but RadAsm is not commencing to be more stable, and "root" features are not updated to final perfectness.

For example you've done a big and good job with your dialog editor, but most time consuming point still remanes:
filling stiles. Appearens of least with checkboxes would speed up the job greatly instead of the bitwindow.
The same about lookups, very usefull feature, but it's not
finished. You did 99% - do the last percent and it will triple
effect of the feature:
you need implement possibility to use lookup for Api written in multiple string, with API that have a lot of params it's impossible to write it in source as one string.
The same about structs lookups - keep it when final >
not wirtten.
I mean currently
SomeStruct NAMEOFIT <>
if handled
but
SomeStruct NAMEOFIT <, ;
>
is not handled.

Again get me right: I wish you big luck.
And if you need feedback - I can login as 100 different
users and flatter on you for the job :)
Just finish what you already almost done, don't start
new things.
Frankly RadAsm in current state looks very perspective for the many good features it has, but it's not good enough for pro work, not because it lacks some features, just 'cause it's not stable enough and some of the features aren't finished yet.

I hope you understand that only great interest to your work made me write all this :)

Hi The Svin

Yeah, you could log in as 100 different users, I would still know it's you. Not many has such terrible English and such bad manners. :grin:
Jokes aside. I have used 1.2.0.4 on both win98 and xp for a while now and it seem very stable, not a single GPF. I dont know whats wrong with NT 4.0. Give me an example, preferable one that it is possible to reproduce.
filling stiles. Appearens of least with checkboxes would speed up the job greatly instead of the bitwindow.

I can't understand what you are saying. Please explain.

Multiline api's should not be to hard to add.

SomeStruct NAMEOFIT <, ;>
The current parser in RadASM is too light. I need to write a better parser. When that is in place it should be simple to analyse the code.

I think what The Svin means is to use a listbox of available styles with checkboxes next to them to select/unselect them. This could be done as a dopdown box, I guess.

WinSpy ++ v1.5:> http://www.catch22.uk.net

I really like the style editor from that app!
A quick fix could be to allow user to enter DWORD value, instead of using editting 'bits' that are not labeled for some controls (listview etc)

Just tried latest RadASM on NT4 SP6a, + 1.2.0.3. No crashes. (bad ini?)
(that radasm info tool would be nice.. even if it just got basic file versions.. OS.. SP level.. richedit ver/build.. basic ini check.. clear MRU.. anybody ever seen nero info tool.. http://www.ahead.de/en/content/c1023694368810.html)

Also.. preview of my new addin + new control soon.

(win2k sp3 final.. + ollydbg 1.07b + cmdline plugin out..)

Creating an addin to set the styles like WinSpy should be pice of cake. The majority of the work would be collecting info about all the different styles and prevent combining those who cannot be combined. I think Const.Ex is working on something. Let's see what he comes up with.

X05. Your addin sounds very interesting. :alright:

Crashes when creating new project.
At the end of the procedure.
When opening existing project it's OK.
What's could be wrong in ini?
It works OK for 1.2.0.0 and for previous RadAsm.
I didn't change it for 1.2.0.4
Should I?
