how to program FASM so it can read values from computer devices like microphone, joystick, etc.

when i was learning GWBASIC, i found an example to get values from LDR (light diode) that connected to the game board connector. how to do this in FASM ?

Under Windows, you must use something like WinIO lib.
Search the board for WinIO for a download link.
For DOS, you can use the "in" and "out" mnemonics.

A good starting point is the following example, coded in TASM by Bit7. But with a very few changes it could be assembled by FASM as well.
